The May 2026 update for XSplit Broadcaster is focused on making streams clearer, easier to follow and simpler to prepare before going live.
This release brings AI Live Captions and AI Voice Clarity plus updates to the pre-stream dialog so you have better control over how your stream details are set to fit your streaming workflow.
Stream with Live Captions on Twitch and YouTube

The new Live Captions tool gives creators a built-in way to make their streams easier to follow in real time.
This builds on the real-time subtitling work we introduced in the XSplit Broadcaster 4.6 beta. Live Captions can generate captions as you speak, then send them to supported platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
For viewers, this can make streams more accessible and easier to understand: especially when they are watching without sound, in a noisy environment or when spoken audio is harder to follow.

To use this feature, open Tools > Live Captions and enable Send Caption before going live. For YouTube Live, you will also need to enable Closed Captions in the pre-stream dialog.
Clearer microphone audio with AI Voice Clarity

We've added AI Voice Clarity to our microphone Noise Suppression options. This helps clean up microphone audio so your voice stays easier to hear during streams, recordings, presentations or any setup where background noise can get in the way.
Whether you are streaming gameplay, hosting a live session or recording content for later, clearer voice audio helps make the whole production feel easier to follow.
More control over stream details
We also updated the pre-stream dialog so you can choose to:
Always enter/review stream details before starting.
Save and reuse the details you've entered (or use the details already set on the platform)

This should help reduce repeated setup work while still giving you control when a stream title or other details need to change.
Other XSplit Broadcaster updates in this release
This release also includes additional fixes and updates across XSplit Broadcaster. These changes continue the same direction as our recent updates: making Broadcaster easier to use as streaming setups become more platform-specific and creators work with more tools before going live.
We’d also love to hear what you think about these changes. Share your feedback in the comments, in our Discord or through the Support chat.
