How do I record or stream my console game?
XSplit Gamecaster’s Console Mode allows external video input through the use of our supported capture cards. Simply plug your console into one of our compatible cards to use it as a source for streaming or recording.
The following cards are supported:
- Avermedia Live Gamer C985
- Avermedia Live Gamer Portable C875
- Avermedia Extreme Cap U3
- Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme
- Elgato Game Capture HD
- Elgato Game Capture HD60
- Elgato Game Capture HD60 S
- Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro
- Hauppauge HD-PVR & HD-PVR2
- Hauppauge HD-PVR Rocket
- Razer Ripsaw
If you have already connected one of the supported capture cards then navigate to the Start tab of the XSplit Gamecaster window and click on the button labeled OPEN CONSOLE VIEWER to show your console game:
From here, you can use XSplit Gamecaster as if you were running a desktop game by opening the XSplit Gamecaster overlay.
